Autumn Winter 2026 | London Fashion Week
We are now accepting applications for runway models to participate in An Anthropology of African Stories, a curated Autumn Winter 2026 showcase taking place during London Fashion Week on 21st February 2026.
This showcase brings together emerging designers whose work explores African identity, heritage, and contemporary storytelling through fashion. Casting will reflect diversity, strong presence, and confident runway walk, with a particular focus on models from ethnic minority backgrounds, including Black, African, Caribbean, Asian, Latino, and other underrepresented communities. All genders are welcome.
Please note this is an unpaid opportunity. Selected models will receive professional runway experience, industry exposure, and imagery from the show.

Model Requirements
Must fit UK Size S (8–10) sample size
Sample measurement guide (inches): Bust: 34–35 in - Waist: 26–28 in - Hip: 37–39 in
Height: 5’7” and above (women) | 6’0” and above (men) (preferred) -
Prior runway experience preferred but not essential

Autumn Winter 2026 | London Fashion Week

Taking place on 21st February 2026, An Anthropology of African Stories is a curated runway showcase by UDGN Studios that explores African identity through the lens of contemporary fashion, culture, and lived experience.

This Autumn Winter 2026 presentation brings together a collective of emerging designers whose work is rooted in heritage, craftsmanship, and storytelling examining how African histories, rituals, migration, memory, and modern realities are translated into silhouette, textile, and form.

More than a fashion show, this showcase positions the runway as an archive where garments become cultural documents and design becomes a language for preserving, questioning, and re-imagining African narratives within a global context.

As part of the production, official casting is now open. The runway will feature a carefully selected cast that reflects diversity, presence, and strong individual identity — aligned with the cultural depth and storytelling focus of the showcase. Casting is being conducted in collaboration with The Models Mode, with further details and submissions to be announced.

Presented during London Fashion Week, the showcase reflects UDGN Studios’ ongoing commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices, nurturing creative talent, and building sustainable pathways for Ethnic minority creatives on international platforms.

Every product development session for “The Spirit Wears Red” is intentionally designed to help her translate culture into contemporary storytelling from research and sketching to fabric studies, fittings, and the precise construction that brings each look to life.

“The Spirit Wears Red” reimagines Idoma identity for the global stage, celebrating the sacred symbolism of red a colour of strength, power, and ancestral pride. Ene’s modern interpretation blends bold cultural codes with refined tailoring and movement, honouring her roots while speaking to today’s fashion language.
