UDGN Studios presents

An Anthropology of African Stories

Autumn Winter 2026 | London Fashion Week

We are now accepting applications for runway models to participate in An Anthropology of African Stories, a curated Autumn Winter 2026 showcase taking place during London Fashion Week on 21st February 2026.

This showcase brings together emerging designers whose work explores African identity, heritage, and contemporary storytelling through fashion. Casting will reflect diversity, strong presence, and confident runway walk, with a particular focus on models from ethnic minority backgrounds, including Black, African, Caribbean, Asian, Latino, and other underrepresented communities. All genders are welcome.

Please note this is an unpaid opportunity. Selected models will receive professional runway experience, industry exposure, and imagery from the show.

 

Model Requirements

  • Must fit UK Size S (8–10) sample size

  • Sample measurement guide (inches): Bust: 34–35 in -  Waist: 26–28 in   - Hip: 37–39 in

  • Height: 5’7” and above (women) | 6’0” and above (men) (preferred) - 

  • Prior runway experience preferred but not essential

Selected models will be contacted directly with further details regarding fittings and show day.

What We Do

We incubate designers through UDGN Academy, showcase them at London Fashion Week, and retail their work through our collective  alongside industry events and summits supporting creative growth.
